The Junior League of Youngstown educates and trains its members to provide effective volunteer service, to research changing community needs and to initiate projects or services to meet those needs. Once a project is in place, the JLY goal is to transfer it into the leadership of an appropriate community organization or to create the leadership in the community to continue to meet the need.
